Pharaoh makes an offering of ointment (rather bravely, he seems to be putting it straight onto the uraeus!) In his other hand you can see an ointment jar, which is also the hieroglyph “bas” in the name of the goddess Bastet, “lady of the ointment jar”. (I think the same hieroglyph is visible in the writing above Seti’s arm.)
